Effective 1st February 2018 “OK To Board” message is not required for the following categories of travellers for travel to UAE (Dubai and Sharjah) and Doha

Customers holding valid Resident Permit or passport stamped with Resident Visa
Customers eligible for “Visa On Arrival” irrespective of nationality
Customers travelling with a print-out of Business and Tourist e-Visa

“Ok To Board” message is mandatory for the below categories

All customers holding ECR (Immigration Check Required) passport
All customers travelling with a print-out of Labour & Work e-visa

Please note that “OK To Board” continues to be mandatory for all customers travelling to Muscat.

Instructions for OKTB Applications

Air India, Air India Express: Apply in advance at least 24 to 48 hours before your flight (Urgent Charges will be applicable within 24 hours).
Indigo, Air Arabia, Spicejet: Apply at least 12 hours before your flight, during working hours (09:30 AM–06:30 PM) (Urgent Charges will be applicable within 12 hours).
Mandatory Requirement: When traveling with Oman Air, you must have a confirmed return ticket for 'OK to Board' (OTB) updation. However, if you are traveling on a work employment visa (UAE visa/Oman/Qatar/Bahrain or other countries visa) or traveling with other airlines, a return ticket is not mandatory. In such cases, please use return ticket option to re-upload your same ticket.

What if OKTB does not reflect in my PNR?

If your OKTB does not get reflected in your PNR, your airline would probably deny you entry into the aircraft despite having all the necessary documents. Thus, it is important to get your OTB approval before boarding.

List of airlines that require OK to Board

Many popular airlines require an Ok to Board for passengers travelling from India to Dubai or other Middle Eastern destinations. The list and details are as follows-

Air India Express
All Indian passport holders with ECR (Emigration Check Required) status travelling from Air India Express must have an "Ok to Board Dubai" message updated in their PNRs. Plus, those with ECNR (Emigration Check Not Required) status on an employment visa also require OKTB before boarding. Thus, ensure that you apply Ok to Board online at least 12 hours before your departure.
Indigo
Indigo requires an OTB message for all customers holding an ECR or ECNR passport and travelling with a print-out of labour or work e-visas.
Oman Air
Those travelling with Oman Air with an ECR, ENCR or e-visa need to get an OTB before boarding. This airline takes nearly 12 to 24 hours of working days to provide your OTB after receiving your documents.
Spicejet
If you have booked your tickets from Spicejet to travel to UAE, especially Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi, OTB is a mandatory formality for you to be able to board.
Air Arabia
As per Air Arabia's official website, passengers travelling from India, Pakistan or Bangladesh to UAE with a copy of visa, or e-visa require an OTB message on their reservation. However, those with original visas do not require it.
Fly Dubai
Passengers travelling from India to the UAE with Fly Dubai must have an "Ok to Board" (OTB) message updated in their PNR if they have an ECR/ECNR passport or e-visa. It is recommended to apply Ok to Board online at least 24 working hours before departure to ensure smooth boarding. The Ok to Board charges of Fly Dubai may vary depending on the airline and specific travel requirements.
Akasa Air
For travellers opting Akasa Air to travel to the UAE with an ECR passport or ECNR passport with a labour e-visa, an OTB message is required. Make sure to check the official website of the airline for latest information.

Which Airlines do not require OKTB?

There are two airlines which do not require you to apply for Ok to Board . These are- Emirates and Etihad.

Emirates- As per the official website of Emirates, passengers do not have to apply for OKTB approval online before their flights. They are just required to show all the necessary documents during airport check-in.

Etihad- Just like Emirates, Etihad Airlines also does not require an Ok to board approval for boarding.

What are the required documents to apply for OKTB for Dubai?

The documents required to get an Ok to Board Dubai vary country and airline-wise. However, the list of the common ones is as follows-

Scanned copy of the first and last passport page
A copy of your online visa
Confirmed round-trip flight tickets

Getting the Service:
- When you use our Ok to Board service, you agree to follow these simple rules. This service helps you get approval from airlines to board your flight.
Payment and Application Completion:
- To ensure your Ok to Board request is considered complete and applied, payment must be made in full. Failure to submit payment will result in your application being considered incomplete and not processed. Make sure to complete the payment to avoid any disruptions to your application.
Urgent Requests:
- If you ask for Ok to Board less than 24 hours before your Fly Dubai or Vistara Air flight, there might be extra fees. If it's less than 12 hours, we can't promise it'll be updated in time.
When We Process Your Request:
- If you submit your application during working hours, it will be processed according to the standard processing time. However, if you submit it on a Sunday or during non-working hours, there will be additional charges.
- Please note that submissions made at night will not be counted as falling within the less-than-24-hours or less-than-12-hours categories. The processing clock will start during the next working hours.

Refund Policy:
- Once your application is forwarded to the airlines and processed, we are unable to provide refunds.
- In case your request cannot be processed by the airlines due to insufficient time, a partial refund may be considered.
Not Our Fault:
- For Air Arabia, if you have added any extras like baggage or meals, ok to board message become invalid in case of rescheduling. You will need to re-request for updation, and charges apply, similar to submitting a new application.
- For all Airlines, In case of flight rescheduling or related issues, we are not responsible. If your flight is rescheduled, you must update your information again, as the previous details will not remain valid.
